In the week that Micha Wertheim premieres his new show Nergens Anders at Frascati, he also presents a specially curated program. A true festival with a selection of performances and activities that, according to him, absolutely deserve your attention. One of these is this feel-good documentary of Boris Mitic.

Micha about In Praise of Nothing:

“When Nergens Anders, the production where I wasn’t physically present, showed at IDFA, I was invited to attend the director’s dinner, where I sat next to a particularly friendly director. It turned out that he made the film In Praise of Nothing.

Perhaps this should really be called a filmic essay. But I really liked it. Undergoing this film is a kind of meditation, led by the dark, husky voice of Iggy Pop. I thought of this film now and again while I was making my online production Niemand Anders. And because that director gave me his card during that dinner, we were able to arrange for the film, which really appealed to me, to be screened now.”
