In the week that Micha Wertheim premieres his new show Nergens Anders at Frascati, he also presents a specially curated program. A true festival with a selection of performances and activities that, according to him, absolutely deserve your attention. One of these is the film Paco

Micha Wertheim about Paco:

Paco is a film I don’t want to say anything about because half of the fun of it lies in not anticipating where it’s headed. One thing I can say is that everyone who works with sound should go see it as, apart from about everything and nothing, this film is also about sound people.

My reason for selecting this film is that, for me, it’s all about how I create shows myself. That is, by being guided by a single idea, without knowing where it will take me. This is what happens in this film, literally and figuratively, in the most cheerful and creative way imagineable. I saw it at IFFR (International Film Festival Rotterdam) and assumed it would get a theatrical release so I’d be able to see it again. When that didn’t happen, I decided to select it for this festival."
