The Mime Program at the Academy of Theatre and Dance presents Playtime. A small festival showcasing the graduating students of the program. Friday, April 18th and Saturday, April 19th Emil Aron Dorph and Sarah Ringoet will perform at Frascati 4. In Frascati 3, the performance FRESH by Noa Azcargorta Cabacés will be continuously shown starting at 20:00.

I am walking and I am sweating; there is sweat on my face. The psyche unfolds, like a flower, spreading its petals and allowing itself to be traversed by the landscape in which it grows. Like a pattern on a larger tapestry. Endless weavings, warmth and night, a particular frequency of light. We are never truly alone.

SOLAR is a wild adventure, a hallucinated road trip and a cosmic journey into the reptilian mind. It's a story of longing for the sun, only to rush into darkness like an animal.

This performers' portrait is the result of two weeks of rehearsals, during which Giari Knaapen and Jonathan Vermeiren, directed by Sarah Ringoet, focus on defining themselves as performers.

FRESH - Noa Azkargorta Cabacés

In the harshness of existence, I retreat into my body, which, despite being captive to ‘the need to be...’ seeks an escape to find the here and now. I am asked to clean my instinct. I am observed, analyzed, presented, projected... While I inhabit a space of precarious scent, dressed in intimacy.
