The Mime Program at the Academy of Theatre and Dance presents Playtime. A small festival showcasing the graduating students of the program. Friday, April 18th and Saturday, April 19th Collectief Friday and Charlotte Vlugt will perform at Frascati 4. In Frascati 3, the performance FRESH by Noa Azcargorta Cabacés will be continuously shown starting at 20:00.

Why does the sweetest fruit ripen just before it falls? 
Why does my tail wag at your footsteps?
Why does the river carry me while it pulls me under?
Why does the hunt thrill me though I know it must end?

Because the road only ends once, and until then, we run.

DE KOUDE KANT VAN HET KUSSEN - Charlotte Vlugt

This is a story about the family living in the house on the corner of the street. The house you used to walk around with a wide arc because your mother said “crazy people” lived there.
Note: this film addresses topics such as incest and self-harm.

FRESH - Noa Azkargorta Cabacés

In the harshness of existence, I retreat into my body, which, despite being captive to ‘the need to be...’ seeks an escape to find the here and now. I am asked to clean my instinct. I am observed, analyzed, presented, projected... While I inhabit a space of precarious scent, dressed in intimacy.
