The Tanzanian choreographer Sisti Mushi shows in the duet Rise and Fall that every path in life knows sacrifices to realise dreams. He shows people's ability to dream and to follow their dreams.

In Rise and Fall two dancers takes us on a journey and we follow their struggle to follow their dreams. They explore how they can find support and caring from those around them for the pursuit of their dreams. With humour they show the meaning of support, the importance of standing by one another and literally 'lifting up' in their darkest moments. As a Tanzanian proverb says 'alone you cannot win, together we can'.

Rise and Fall reminds us that almost any difficult situation can be turned into magic by sharing with others!
