In Black Privilege, Nyamza focuses on the hypocritical structure of our society in which we judge each other based on race, gender, sexual orientation and class.

Nyamza is rolled in on a tall bronze-colored ladder. Her naked body has gold jewelry on her head, ears, wrists and ankles, she carries a scale on her head. She looks down at the spectators and switches back and forth between rituals in which she summons strong women from the past and a court case in which she holds power figures to account for their past actions. At the end, Nyamza descends from her high post and the spectators see that it is not a pedestal but an auction block. For Nyamza, Black Privilege is a black woman's right to rule, to break down, to find her own way. Black Privilege straddles the line between performance art and contemporary dance.
