COVID PROTOCOL FRASCATI

In line with our coronavirus protocol and the guidelines issued by the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM guidelines), Frascati has drawn up new house rules aimed at creating the safest possible environment for visitors, staff and performers.

COVID admission ticket

Frascati will be working with the COVID admission ticket to make use of the two-thirds venue capacity currently permitted. This means we do not have to observe the 1.5 distance rule in the venue. Naturally, we are using compulsory seating. So you can only attend a show if, as well as your ticket, you also have a valid COVID admission ticket. Both your ticket and the COVID admission ticket will be checked at the door, in combination with proof of identity.  For more information on the COVID admission ticket, click here.

Ticket sales

Buy your tickets online. It is also possible to buy tickets from the evening box office on the evening of the show, from 19h00 if the show is not sold out. We send visitors information in a service mail the day before the performance takes place, explaining the house rules and what happens before, during and after the show.

Face masks

Since 26 June 2021, it is no longer compulsory to wear a face mask in theatres.

1.5-metre rule and ventilation

As we are working with the COVID admission ticket and compulsory seating, it is no longer necessary to keep to the 1.5-metre rule inside the theatre. Frascati ensures regular, thorough cleaning of all contact surfaces and toilets. Frascati follows the protocol drawn up by the Federation of European Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Associations (REHVA).

If you are experiencing any health complaints such as coughing, fever and/or shortness of breath, we ask you not to come to the theatre. You can cancel your visit by calling + 31 (0)20-6266866, Mondays thru Fridays from 13h00 to 17h00 and from 19h00 until the start of the show. Do you need to reach us at the weekend? In that case you can cancel your visit by calling +31 (0)20-6266866 from 19h00 until the start of the show, or by sending an e-mail to kassa@frascatitheater.nl.

Entry to Frascati 1,2 and 3

Your ticket, COVID admission ticket and proof of identity will be checked at the entrance to the evening box office. Once inside the venue, you can choose your own seat. As we need more time to carry out these checks, entry and ticket checks generally start 20 minutes ahead of the start of the show.

Seat allocation in Frascati 4

Your ticket, COVID admission ticket and proof of identity will be checked at the entrance to the evening box office. Once inside the venue, you can choose your own seat. As we need more time to carry out these checks, entry and ticket checks generally start 20 minutes ahead of the start of the show.

Frascati Café

Frascati Café and the restaurant are open. To check the opening times and make a reservation, click here. Is the show on a Sunday or a Monday? On these days the kitchen is closed, and the café opens 1 hour ahead of the start of the show. In Frascati Café, we follow the rules set by the Dutch government in relation to the coronavirus – this means that the 1.5-metre rule has to be observed here.

Frequently asked questions about Frascati and coronavirus measures

What measures does Frascati take to ensure the safety of visitors and staff during shows?

You can only visit a show in Frascati by showing a valid COVID admission ticket.  In line with the Dutch government’s guidelines, we only sell tickets for two-thirds of our normal venue capacity. Frascati also is also implementing extra hygiene measures. Ahead of each show, we send all visitors more information on the measures and safety regulations. Nevertheless, we depend on our visitors to follow the guidelines in place; so please keep your distance and show consideration for one another.

When I bought my tickets, you weren’t working with the COVID admission ticket yet. Now you are. What do I do?

As theatre is a collective experience and theatre-makers want to share their work with as many people as possible, we chose to sell extra tickets for shows that were already on sale when the new guidelines were announced. We kindly request that you bring a valid COVD admission ticket when visiting the show. Click here to find out how to get one of these. Should you not be able to obtain a COVID admission ticket, contact us at info@frascatitheater.nl.

Is the evening box office open for shows?

Yes, the evening box office is open. Tickets should be ordered online, but it is possible to still buy a ticket on the evening of the show at our evening box office, as long as the show is not sold out. Our telephone information line is open Mondays thru Fridays between 13h00 and 17h00 on +31 (0)20-6266866.

Is there a waiting list?

Do you want to try to get into a sold-out show? You can report to the box office an hour before the start of the show to ask whether this is possible, and possibly be put on a waiting list. The evening box office will then give out waiting list numbers.

I have tickets for a show that was cancelled because of the coronavirus measures and haven’t yet received any information about how this will be resolved.

All customers who have purchased tickets for a cancelled show have recently been informed by e-mail about the resolution of these. We used the e-mail addresses used to purchase the tickets. If you have not yet received an e-mail (check your  spam folder too), let us know at info@frascatitheater.nl. It is possible that something went wrong when sending the mail.

Can I make a reservation for the café?

If you would like to eat in the café before the show, it is certainly possible to book a table at info@frascaticafe.nl or after 16h00 on the day of your visit by telephone on +31 (0)20-7516481. In the café, we follow the coronavirus guidelines applicable to the hospitality sector.
