A Role Model is sometimes closer than you think
The upbeat dance concert ROLE MODEL is a collaboration between Nicole Beutler Projects and the Utrecht based house for young talent DOX. Directors Nicole Beutler and Magne van den Berg created this performance for and with six unique performers: Anne-Fay Kops, Debbie Ruijter, Deschny Ira Rogers, Djinti Sullivan, Tamara Robledo Oud and Lucinda Mae Wessels.
In ROLE MODEL a group of six women stand strong together. Masculine, feminine, intrepid, insecure, rought, soft. They are all of these things and everything in between. Martial arts, voguing, hiphop, house, rap and song make ROLE MODEL into a performance that celebrates individuality and diversity. Six personalities embrace their strength to an atmospheric soundtrack by DJ Streamer. An inspiring piece for everybody from 12 tot 99 years old.
This performance contains a few text fragments in Dutch but is overall accessible for a non-Dutch speaking audience.
